October is Midway Woods’ Paid Patrol annual membership drive. The neighborhood’s Paid Patrol program started last year — we met our minimum membership requirement to fund a full year of patrols  — four hours each week for the entire year and patrols began last year in November.

Now it’s time to collect the funds to support a second year of patrols, and it is our goal to increase membership to help pay for more shifts each week. The new goal is to double the households signed up and get an additional 4 hours of patrol shifts added per week.

We are also seeking volunteers for “patrol coordinators” to assist as liaisons with the officers, the board and paid patrol members. To make this successful, we need you to go to the website and fill out the registration form and make your payment using PayPal or by check during the fundraising period of October 1 – October 31.

Membership in the paid patrol costs $155 per year.
