Here are the results of the survey conducted this week to gauge neighborhood sentiment and gather ideas regarding the proposed development townhomes on Memorial Drive.

We had 55 neighbors respond to the survey by August 11.

52.7 percent of respondents support the plan.

25.5 percent oppose the plan.

And 21.8% are undecided.

The survey asked “The company (Valor Tower) has proposed making improvements to nearby Delano Line Park as part of their project. What changes do you think would be helpful to the surrounding neighborhoods?” Here are the results.

A company called Valor Tower is planning to change a block bordering Memorial Drive from O/I (office/industrial) to R (residential) in order to build a group of new townhomes. The proposed development will be on the south side of Memorial Drive, between Conway and Thomas Roads, near Delano-Line Park.

The Midway Woods Association would like to gather your opinions about the project and try to send helpful information to the builders, who are interested in working with Dekalb County to improve Delano Line Park as part of their plan.
