The Midway Woods Association started organizing what we’ve taken to calling a “Midway Mixer” event, informal gatherings hosted by volunteer households throughout the neighborhood where new and older neighbors come come together, introduce or re-introduce themselves to each other, and generally all get to know each other better.

We tabled these events due to COVID, but it’s feeling like the time has arrived where we can begin to gather together in person again. And so … everyone is invited to the first of what we hope to be many Midway Mixer events — this one is on Saturday, May 14 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Stewarts’, 1374 Catherine Street.

BYOB and come hang out with your neighbors for a couple of hours. Meet new neighbors, play lawn games, try your neighbor’s best dip recipe and more.
