The Midway Woods Association would like to invite all neighborhood residents to join us at Dearborn Park on Sunday, August 13 for our annual neighborhood picnic! Everyone is invited to come out and meet some new neighbors and reconnect with old friends! Save the date and join us for this back-to-school celebration! 

When: 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 13

Where: Dearborn Park

The association will provide hot dogs (including vegetarian options) with all the fixings, chips and water. 

BYOD (bring your own drinks) if you’d like something other than water.

If you are so inclined, please bring a side dish or dessert to pass.

Like last year, we’re planning for the picnic to also be a Back-to-School fundraiser and supply drive for Avondale Elementary School. We’ll be collecting supplies such as crayons, #2 pencils, composition notebooks as well as donations for our local elementary school and its students.

The picnic will mark the start of our neighborhood association membership drive, but mostly it is  an opportunity for us all to gather and connect with fellow Midway Woods residents.
