Midway Mixer events are informal gatherings, hosted by volunteer households throughout Midway Woods, where neighbors can come together, introduce or reintroduce themselves to each other, and where we can generally all get to know each other better.

Mixers are a great opportunity to enjoy some fresh air and hang out with your neighbors for a couple of hours. Everyone is invited to our next Midway Mixer event.

When: Sunday, May 5 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Where: 2798 Midway Road.

Head to the backyard. Mixer-goers are invited to bring snacks. BYOB as well. No pets, please.

We’re also looking for a few good Midway Mixer hosts!

We’re looking for people who might be interested in hosting a Midway Mixer for later in 2023!

What’s expected of you as a Midway Mixer host:

• To open up your yard to visitors from throughout the neighborhood for a set period of time. To greet visitors and generally be a friendly and welcoming presence.
• All Midway Mixers are BYOB, hosts are not expected to provide refreshments.

• The Midway Woods Association will assist by helping to get the word out (via Facebook, NextDoor, our website and email), provide tips from previous hosts, try to answer any questions you might have and otherwise help out where we can!
• Times and dates are flexible. We’ll work with you to pick a time/date that works best with your schedule!
