Whether you are looking to offload some greenery, acquire a new plant or two, or want to meet other Midway Woods neighbors with a green thumb, please come on out, share ideas, and bounce projects off one another at the Spring Midway Woods Annual Plant Swap and Social!
Where: The pavilion and creekside area of Dearborn Park off Deerwood Drive.
When: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2005
For those who have plants to contribute, we ask that they be healthy and that you label every pot or plant clearly with common or botanical name, including instructions if required, or whatever you know about the plant (does it prefer sun, shade, etc.) We’ll have notecards and pens on hand at the event for this purpose as well.

Bring photos of your plant in bloom too — everyone will be interested in seeing what the plants might look like in full flower.
If you are interested in participating, please RSVP with us at midwaywoodscommunications@gmail.com so we have an idea of the head count for the event. Email us as well at midwaywoodscommunications@gmail.com with questions and ideas.

The Wylde Center’s Plant Sale Festival is happening a few week’s earlier — on Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Oakhurst Garden at 435 Oakview Road.
View https://www.wyldecenter.org/event/spring-plant-sale-festival/ for more information on that event, if you want to get a earlier jump on your spring planting planning.
